All properties on Whitetail will be accessible for the weekend. Properties from Hwy 14A to Big Sky are accessible from the highway, all others are accessed from Deer Mountain Road.
Beginning September 3, 2024 Mainline Construction will begin installation of the new water mainline on Birch Drive. Access to the following properties will be affected at times and as such the property owners should be aware of the possible access restrictions. 11184 Birch Drive, 11194 Birch Drive, 21369 Birch court, 21368 Birch Court, 11200 Birch Drive and 21388 Aspen Drive The District has an agreement with Deer Mountain Village providing access to the top of Birch Drive via their road within the Village. 4:50PM UPDATE: Our water operator is on his way to the pump house to turn the water back on. Expect full water service by 5:30. 1:40PM UPDATE: Crews are now estimating 4:00PM water restoration. 1:00PM UPDATE: Crews are still on-scene working on the repair. New estimated time water will be restored is around 2:00PM. _________________________________ Tuesday, August 20 7:00 PM UPDATE: We've just been informed this line break is extensive and parts aren't available until tomorrow. Plan for water to be out until Noon, Wednesday, August 21, at the earliest. 6:20 PM UPDATE: The line has been exposed and parts have been ordered. Plan for repairs to take at least 3 hours.
