Our water operator just informed us that we will be out of water until noon on the east side of the mountain to the highway by Rec Springs for meter pit installation.
Due to a Meter installation on Aspen Dr., water will be shut off on Aspen Dr only until approximately 5:00 pm today. UDPATE: Because they couldn't isolate the valve, all of Aspen and to the west of Aspen will be out of water.
Water main leak at Bobcat Ct. Water may be shut off tomorrow 9/3 at 8 am to approximately Noon.

There may be a handful of residents who will not have meters installed before the beginning of the reading. Notice is hereby given that there are two (2) vacancies on the Board of Trustees for the Deer Mountain Sanitary District for a two (2) and three (3) year term. These open positions have been served by John Bailey and Joe Kosel, and those terms are complete. Petitions may be picked up by contacting the Lawrence County Auditors Office or [email protected]. Per SDCL 34A-5-21.2, to serve as a trustee of a sanitary district, the person shall be a resident of the sanitary district. Completed petitions must contain the name of candidate, residence, business address, and the office for which the candidate is named and shall be signed by at least 5% of the qualified voters. Completed petitions must be returned to Clerk at the address below. The deadline for submitting the petitions is 5:00 pm, Tuesday, August 19, 2025. The election and annual meeting for the Deer Mountain Sanitary District is September 2, 2025, at Gold Rush Plaza, 201 W.
