SDDA Launches New State Burn Permit System
RAPID CITY S.D. — The South Dakota Department of Agriculture’s Wildland Fire Division has launched a new and improved burn permit website that is more user friendly. The new site will require all users to have a valid email address and register as a new user. Any permit that has already been issued for this burn season has been transferred to the new system and is still valid. The new site can be found at https://apps.sd.gov/AG73BurnPermit/Windows/Login.aspx or by going to the South Dakota Wildland Fire webpage, https://wildlandfire.sd.gov/, and clicking on the link in the Quick Links box. The following addresses in the road district have been approved for a fire permit by the state. Only these locations may have a legal fire.
