NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING for the DEER MOUNTAIN SANITARY DISTRICT WATER PROJECT
The Deer Mountain Sanitary District is seeking $2,125,000 of funding from the Board of Water and Natural Resources for water system improvements, including the following: new water treatment building and equipment, storage reservoir, water meters, distribution system, and booster station. The amount, source of funds, and terms will be determined by the Board of Water and Natural Resources when the application is presented at a scheduled board meeting. The purpose of the public hearing is to discuss the proposed project, the proposed financing, and the source of repayment for the loan. The public is invited to attend and comment on the project. The public hearing will be held in the classroom at the Sanford Lab Homestake Visitor Center, located at 160 West Main Street, Lead, SD, on March 25, 2020, at 5:30 pm.
