Leak repairs continue today. Water will be out on Jack Pine and Aspen until the repair is fixed.
Water service for the following properties will be shut off starting at 8 a.m. tomorrow (8/30) until the water leak is repaired.
All properties on the following streets: Spruce, Aspen from source to Deer Mountain Road and Jack Pine Court The repair should be complete by early afternoon if all goes well. We will update here. Early voting is possible by appointment only. All eligible voters can call the District office number at 605-641-3365.
NOTICE OF DMSD ELECTION SAMPLE BALLOT While installing meter pits on Derby Court, they discovered a major water leak and will begin repairs immediately. Derby Court will be without water most of the day. We will post an update when we hear more.
The water line was repaired by mid-afternoon. An election will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, to elect two Trustees to the Deer Mountain Sanitary District for a three-year term. Landowners who are Lawrence County registered voters are eligible to vote.

The election will be held at 21375 Mule Deer Dr., Lead, South Dakota. The Annual Meeting will immediately follow the election at the same location. Shari Kosel Clerk/Secretary Meter pit/meter installation will begin today and the first phase over the next ten days of installation will periodically disrupt water service at the following addresses as the installation progresses.
