A Special Sanitary District Election will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 21375 Mule Deer Dr., Lead, South Dakota.
If the polls cannot be opened because of bad weather, the election may be postponed one week. The election polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time on the day of the election. Anyone wishing to early vote can make arrangements by calling the DMSD business line 605-641-3365. At the election, the following question will be voted upon: Should the District issue its general obligation bond in an amount not to exceed $3,001,552 for the purpose of paying the cost of expanding and making improvements to the District's existing drinking water system, including, but not limited to, a new pump house and equipment, water meters, distribution system, and booster station, and to pay legal, accounting and other costs related to the issuance of such bond?
